Saskatoon is a city in central Saskatchewan Canada on the South Saskatchewan River. Residents of the city of Saskatoon are called Saskatonians. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344. Saskatoon is the most populous city in the province of Saskatchewan and has been since the mid-1980s when it surpassed the provincial capital of Regina. The city had a population of 202 340 in the Canada 2006 Census with a civic estimate of 231 900 in 2010.
