Southern Nuclear Operating Company Inc. also known as Southern Nuclear is a nuclear power company headquartered in Birmingham Alabama. The company operates six nuclear power units at three plants: the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant and the Alvin W. Vogtle Electric Generating Plant.
